Retailer Primary Responsibilities

Retailers or their Accelerator partners are responsible for the point-of-sale connectivity required to send and receive information to TCB's central database. This connectivity enables real-time validation of the coupon offer and allows for the separation of offer data that contributed to mitigating fraud.

1. Accept AI (8112) offer from consumer either in digital or paper format
2. Send received coupon information to TCB centralized database for offer authentication
3. If authentication is successful, POS will receive the purchase requirements for basket adjudication
4. If the basket adjudication fails or the transaction fails, Rollback API call is required.
